June Topic of the Month Patient Engagement Planning Sheet – “My Life: Coping and Depression”

Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, the Network has changed the Patient Engagement Calendar to help address current needs surrounding infection control and coping. The Topic of the Month for May is “My Life: Prevention Saves Lives” and June will be “My Life: Coping and Depression. The “My Life Prevention Saves Lives” has resources compiled to address infection prevention at the dialysis and includes COVID-19 specific resources as well. This month, we encourage you to review the My Life: Coping and Depression” topic of the month sheet to identify resources to share with your patients about coping strategies, including dealing with COVID-19, to plan a Patient Engagement activity for June. If you have a NPR, we encourage you to review the monthly Topic of the Month sheet with your Network Patient Representative and brainstorm ideas on how to best address the topic in your facility.
